Curious because I support some of Trump's policies, but from a different standpoint: why not support someone/s with the same policies as Trump but with a more sincere and constructive philosophy, who understands the movement, but isn't as rash?

I think the Trump supporters' grassroots movement is fascinating and their dedication and vigor is impressive; but is there not someone/s that would better represent its values? And because there are obviously many factions, what would you say your values and goals are in the context of this movement?

I empathize in terms of the general disaffection, but I've only been to four states outside of the Northeast, and the "mainstream media" (in my opinion) is disingenuous its depiction of Trump supporters as a monolith, so I don't feel like I have a grasp on what's actually going on.
