I'm moving into a new apartment soon and I can't get a good position for where my bed is supposed to be. I know the top no-nos for the head area are doors, windows, and the toilet. I've been largely inconvenienced by sleeping in the middle of the room in the past (I had a small bed, things kept falling and I didn't really feel secure because I move a lot), so I want to avoid that, but it seems like there is no other way. It feels like the position I have drawn here is the best option, which I really don't like. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
