At least two people were killed and three injured after a Swift car, driven by a 19-year-old boy, first hit a cyclist and then crashed into a roadside slum after losing control.

The incident was reported at 3:30 am from west Delhi’s Pankha Road. Upon receiving the PCR call, police rushed to the spot and took the injured to the hospital. The boy behind the wheel has been taken into police custody.

In March, another crash was reported in West Delhi’s Naraina area, where a Maruti Ciaz collided with a tree around midnight. Of the four occupants in the car, two were pronounced dead.
