Archana Puran Singh introduces father-in-law who opposed her relationship with Parmeet Sethi, forced them to elope
In an earlier appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show, Archana Puran Singh and Parmeet Sethi revealed that they eloped and got married, because his father opposed their union. He felt that Archana was too old for him, which forced them to run away in the middle of the night and find a pandit who would agree to get him married. Archana said that she now has a fantastic relationship with her father-in-law, who made an appearance in her latest vlog. After travelling across the length and breadth of Mumbai to find the city’s best food, Archana and her family stayed home in their latest vlog.
Archana documented a day in her life, which included chit-chatting with her sons, Aaryamann and Ayushmaan. While Aaryamann was in bed playing the guitar, Ayushmaan was shooting a cooking vlog. He made some mango sticky rice for his family, which they were all very impressed by. They were also getting ready for an upcoming foreign trip, for which Archana was busy packing. She made her assistant bring out all the possible items that she could carry along with her, and proceeded to try them on and film herself in them. Archana said that it is important to see how one looks while moving about in certain clothes.
She then visited Aayamann’s room, where he was also in the process of packing. But he’d outsourced the duties to Archana’s assistant. Archana also taunted him for not cleaning his wardrobe himself. She said that her assistant would be on leave soon, and that he’d have to pack his own bags. Parmeet, meanwhile, was working out in the gym. Archana then went to visit her mother, and reminded audiences that she was a graduate back in her day. “She looked like Meena Kumari,” Archana said, as her mother showered her with kisses.
The next stop was her father-in-law’s room. She showed audiences the stacks of nuts that he keeps in his room, and said that he usually spends his time listening to religious sermons and watching television. Her father-in-law said that he’d love to go out for a meal, and Archana promised that Aaryamann would take him out for lunch in a few days.
Appearing on Kapil Sharma’s show a few years ago, Archana and Parmeet spoke about the barriers they had to cross to get married. “There was a lot of drama. Parmeet’s parents voiced their disapproval. They felt I was a little too old for him, and I was an actress. But, despite all that, I’d like to mention that after we got married, they accepted me whole-heartedly. But they had no choice,” Archana said.
