A woman visiting the toilet at the Ambala bus stand in Haryana was in for a shock when she returned from the restroom. Upon returning, she discovered that her bag was missing, raising concerns about safety and security at the bus stand that sees heavy footfall on a daily basis.
The woman reported the incident to the bus stand in-charge, and CCTV footage was reviewed. The video clearly showed a person sitting on the ground; as soon as the woman left for the toilet, the individual took the bag and fled. The Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran (HUDA) in-charge is hopeful that the bag will be recovered. Fortunately, the bag contained no valuables, only documents belonging to the woman’s father, which she was taking to Chandigarh. This was an unprecedented incident for her.
