The Kalady police made one more arrest in the case related to the alleged theft by stabbing the manager of a vegetable shop. The arrested is Gireesh, 49, of Kodungalloor. The incident took place on December 27.

The police had already arrested 12 persons in the case. Gireesh had gone into hiding after the incident. The special investigation team nabbed him from Kodungalloor. He had allegedly taken ₹4 lakh from the loot. He was an accused in 12-odd cases, including for murder, said the police.
