Dem Catfight Continues: Crockett Fires Back at Fetterman With Some Nasty Jabs

The Democrats have been having a civil war over the past week over the stopgap spending continuing resolution (CR) that ultimately passed in the Senate. Some in the House -- such as Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) -- have been screaming at the folks in the Senate who voted for the CR, including Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA), claiming they felt a "deep sense of betrayal" by the Senate Democrats. They even levied a transparent threat at Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), urging AOC to primary him if he didn't flip against the CR as they wanted.

Fetterman's response to AOC was classic, as we wrote, and it wasn't pretty. “I hope you can relay how little I care about her views on this,” he replied. He also implied she didn't have to care about whether there was a shutdown, if they didn't pass the CR because she would still "have her paycheck though."

Then CNN's Jake Tapper asked Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) Sunday's "State of the Union" show about Fetterman's criticism over "undignified antics and a sad calvalcade of self-owns" like the "Choose your Fighter" video. Crockett was one of the women in that silly video. Tapper opined that her punching looked better than some of her colleagues. She didn't actually punch (great reporting there, Jake) but yes, she did look a little better.
