I found some cheap flights to Iceland this summer and I was thinking about doing a bike tour. Based on my research many ppl tour along the Ring Road. I’ve also seen some things online about the Ring Road being unsafe for cyclists in recent years. Has anyone toured the Ring Road recently and can comment on how comfortable they felt in terms of vehicle safety?

Or have any other Icelandic tour routes that they recommend?
