When I was a kid something wearing my mom’s face spoke to me in my bedroom.

When I was 9 or so I was sitting in my bedroom playing a game on my Xbox, fallout 3 I have no idea why I remember it so vividly but I was walking around in the game I remember exactly what I was doing, where I was in the game etc. and all of a sudden my mom pops into the door on my left and begins to talk to me, she was dressed in her normal work clothes blue scrubs, she was telling me that she had just gotten home and that my brother and my grandma were upstairs making dinner together and I should go up with them in a bit, I had thought my brother was still in his room right next to me but I told my mom I’d be up in 10 and she turned and walked straight ahead out of my view. I stay playing my game for a bit and then I make my way upstairs and as I’m walking upstairs my eyes catch the wall on my right and there’s a bizarrely tall shadow. I wasn’t sure why it had caught my eye so much at the time but it felt wrong. It wasn’t until I got a bit older that I realized in that old house there was no light that would cast my shadow on that wall. As I turn the corner I see my grandmother sitting down at the kitchen table and my brother standing next to her immediately I ask them where mom is and they tell me she hasn’t come home yet. With the way this house was set up there is absolutely no chance they would not have seen her when she came in. I tell them that I just spoke to her but that’s when my memory gets hazy again, I can’t remember what they said in response to me all I remember is 30 or so minutes later my mom comes back followed shortly by my dad, I try to tell them what happened and they listened but nothing like this happened again.
I understand kids are imaginative and that sometimes dreams and reality can blur together but I just can’t accept either of those explanations. My dreams have never ever been this vivid it’s been more than a decade and I can still easily recall sitting in my chair playing my game, my mom standing in the doorway wearing her blue scubs, and that strange shadow etched on the dull orange wall.
