Chelsea re-sign Lukaku for record £97.5m
Chelsea have re-signed Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan for a record fee of £97.5 million.
The Blues announced the signing on social media and on its official website, saying “Back in Blue”.
Lukaku left Chelsea about seven years ago to join Chelsea, moving on to Manchester United and later to Inter Milan.
He initially joined Chelsea as a 17-year-old from Belgian side Anderlecht in 2011.
Lukaku has expressed delight to return to Stamford Bridge.
“Happy to be back home,” he wrote on Instagram, sharing an old video of his early days at Chelsea.
