Kylian Mbappe joined Real Madrid from Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent on a five-year contract in June last year.

Mbappe signed a permanent deal with PSG from his boyhood club, AS Monaco, in 2018, and things between him and the Parisians turned bitter in the twilight days of his tenure at the French club.

The situation started going south when Mbappe did not agree to sign a contract extension with PSG, and the Frenchman was interested in making a move away from Parc des Princes.

Mbappe and PSG are already in a financial dispute, where the 26-year-old has claimed that the Ligue 1 giants still owe him 55 million euros ($61 million) in unpaid wages and bonuses.

Now, the Paris prosecutor’s office has recently confirmed that Mbappe has filed a new lawsuit against PSG, and a judicial investigation was opened on Tuesday, June 24, with the appointment of two investigating judges, following his complaint.

In his lawsuit, Mbappe has accused PSG of moral harassment. Reports suggested that the prosecutor’s office has stated that Mbappe is denouncing the ‘lofting’ that he claims to have been subjected to at the club.
