I'm sure you've all heard of Israel's attack on Iran by now and also Iran's retaliatory attack which might escalate into a war.

I often see the opinion on this sub that Biden being president of the US played into Russia's decision to invade Ukraine, and I' curious if you think Trump being president played any part into Israel's decision to attack Iran, and how in that case? If not, why do you think who was the president of the US didn't matter?

I'm mostly interested in hearing the perspective of those who do believe that Biden's presidency affected Russia's decision to invade Ukraine.
