Riots continue to ravage Los Angeles, with Mexican-flag-waving left-wing agitators assaulting ICE officers, blocking traffic, setting cars on fire, and surrounding a federal detention center. President Donald Trump called in the National Guard on Saturday night, helping to quell some of the violence. 

The chaos erupted in opposition to the enforcement of immigration law by the Trump administration, which has sought to prioritize the deportation of convicted criminals. Still, Democrats and their far-left base have decided those are people worth going to bat for, and the results have been predictable. 

As RedState reported, California politicians have been no help, with Gov. Gavin Newsom and L.A. Mayor Karen Bass taking the side of the rioters. Perhaps worse, the LAPD put out a statement claiming the riots were "peaceful" and that there had been no "incidents." Does this look peaceful and without incident to you?
