Antifa Attacks Christians Praying; So Obviously Seattle Mayor Defends Antifa

A Christian group in Seattle held a concert and prayer meeting in a Seattle park.
They had a permit, were totally peaceful, and gathered together to pray for the end of alphabet ideology harming children. Nobody was masked, there was no hate speech, and the goal was to call on Jesus and all good people to end the trans insanity.

Being Seattle, the inevitable happened. Masked Antifa thugs crashed the event and did what Antifa thugs do.
Antifa protested a Christian concert in Seattle. Why does Antifa protest good things like Trump and Jesus?

The Seattle police responded as police should do--not take sides, but defend the defenseless and try to preserve the peace. And since the aggressors were the Antifa thugs, over 20 were arrested for assault and other crimes.
Rather than responding with a simple statement defending free speech while condemning the attack, Mayor Bruce Harrell seemed to attack the Christian group while demanding an investigation into why they were given this permit... https://t.co/ia0iHvIoBV

Again, this being Seattle, the mayor condemned...the Christians, and demanded an investigation into why Christians would be allowed to gather in public in his city. Obviously, they are dangerous right-wingers--fascists, as the Seattle Times called them, believe it or not--and the police and the parks authorities should have denied them the right to assemble.
Free speech is great and all that, you see, but only if you want to say what the left wants. Disagreeing with leftists is incitement to violence. Shut up. Otherwise, you get what you deserve.

Seattle is proud of our reputation as a welcoming, inclusive city for LGBTQ+ communities, and we stand with our trans neighbors when they face bigotry and injustice. Today’s far-right rally was held here for this very reason – to provoke a reaction by promoting beliefs that are inherently opposed to our city’s values, in the heart of Seattle’s most prominent LGBTQ+ neighborhood.
When the humanity of trans people and those who have been historically marginalized is questioned, we triumph by demonstrating our values through our words and peaceful protest – we lose our voice when this is disrupted by violence, chaos, and confusion.
While there are broad First Amendment requirements around permitting events under free speech protections, I am directing the Parks Department to review all of the circumstances of this application to understand whether there were legal location alternatives or other adjustments that could have been pursued. The Police Department will complete an after-action report of this event, including understanding preparation, crowd management tactics, and review of arrests and citations.

See that? Christians gathered in worship and prayed for the end of trans insanity, and it is their fault that masked villains assault them. And, as you can see, the mayor wants a "review of arrests and citations," which is another way of saying he doesn't want anybody who attacked the Cristians to face consequences.
