Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said the success of the Maha Kumbh, held in Prayagraj, was a prime example of 'sabka prayaas' during which the entire world witnessed the grandeur of India. Speaking in the Lok Sabha, PM Modi said the Maha Kumbh "reflects the spirit of rising India".

"Several people had a role to play in the success of Maha Kumbh. I thank all the 'karm yogis' of the government and society," PM Modi said.

The 45-day Maha Kumbh, one of the world's largest religious gatherings that takes place after 144 years, culminated on February 26, with over 66 crore people taking a dip in the holy waters.
